When my own ship tries to pass under a (my own) bridge, it bounces off it instead of passing under it

It is almost certainly a modelling problem

Has anyone any pointers on how to remediate this ?

I assume this is with collision enabled for the bridge? If so, this uses a simplified contact model suitable for things like quays. Are you able to split the bridge into separate models for the pier and deck (with the same origin in the model and location in the world model). Then you could enable collision for the bridge piers, but not the deck.

If you send me a PM, the I'll send you a working bridge, with collision enabled.

I did send Henrik some stuff to try, another thing could be the height file I think. Most of the Dutch data I have, the height data around bridges is not reliable.
